Anna and Nathan Bond are the Rifle Paper Co. and they make beautiful work that makes you giggle as well as goggle. They make thank you cards, stationery, calendars, invitations, notepads, basically everything and anything paper that you want to look neat. Their work is, as Grain edit says perfectly, charming. It has one of the best balances of cute/kitsch without being too overdone and still qualifying as inherently good design. The hand-drawn, almost elementary feel of the illustrations really speaks to their style and the products they sell.
From around the web, I bring you The Dieline. It's all about package design and good lord is it fabulous. It features both professional and student work and is a great source of inspiration and a different perspective on design. I am a sucker for a good package. In fact it's the only way I buy wine. If it looks pretty, I'm in. And if it doesn't taste good, at least it looks damn good on top of my refrigerator. There's some crazy stuff that you can do with packages that you can't do on a computer. To be able to conceptualize something and then make it come to life is quite the skill. The basic elements of typography and color and such still apply, but I love the artistic aspect of package design that can either make or break a product.
